Honey came in together with Winny and Beaty Butte. They were adopted together from an adoption in Ocala in January 2018. They were all sale authority and the adopters put them all in a pen together and then were not able to separate them. They realized they were not able to gentle the horses and contacted WHRC and asked us to pick them up. Honey is a sweet little mare who is currently being gentled by WHRC.

Opal is a stunningly beautiful mare. She has a glossy black coat and moves flashy. Opal came into the center in 2015 as an owner surrender. She was taken care of, but they could not keep her. They had gentled her up but not done much with her saddle training. We are currently working her under saddle, and she is doing okay but has some issues that still need to be worked on. She is a very sensitive riding horse who needs guidance. This mare will make somebody very happy one day when the right person shows up!
